Google Maps and Streetview definitely coddles the anal fearful side of me that wants to be totally prepared for any future eventuality. It lets me completely scope out any new place that I'm going to, I can see all the tricky turns, even plan for where I might park, and generally avoid any actual thinking on my feet or dynamic decision making.
